Use the amp-sync tool on windows and Linux platform to download the required packages and bundle them to an ISO file.ġ. Note: Cygwin is a 3rd Party Application for Windows machines.Ģ. Start the installation and select these packages in Cygwin: curl, genisoimage, and xmlstarlet.ģ. Download the amp-sync script from the Secure Endpoint VPC admin page: Operations > Update Device, as shown in the image.Ĥ. C:\cygwin\home\%username%\Ĭygwin64 was used in this scenario to generate the update/upgrade ISO.ĥ. Note: The amp-sync tool checks the local resources before the packages are downloaded from the Cisco repository and some options allow for incremental updates. It is recommended to use the same machine that was used initially to generate the update ISO. If the URL does not work, use the alternative URLs. You can also install the EPEL in the cmd. Download amp-sync from your Private Cloud device and transfer it to your update host. On your update host run the next command. To view the list of amp-sync options, run the command. In order to download all the updates, verify them, and package them into an ISO, run the command. Note: This step is required for new deployments in order to receive the Protect DB. For current deployment, the delta option can be used to reduce the size of the ISO. Create a backup of the current Private Cloud in Air-gap Mode. Navigate to Operations > Backups, as shown in the image.
